A group of year sixth form students have been given the amazing opportunity to be mentored by local business people in the industry they are hoping to work in. Facilitated by Project Lumen whose goal is to raise aspirations in Lincolnshire. The students went to Grimmes local factory for a networking event, where they met with their business mentors and received some great connections and ate some delicious food. The students will now meet with their mentors in the business environment for further support with their careers.

Year 9 & 10 students have been given the exciting opportunity to create a brand new potato based ready meal for Brantsons, if successful these products will be sold in Tesco stores nationwide. The students recently presented their ideas and progress to mangers at Branstons who were amazed by their progress. Branstons asked the students to taste test the current products on the market (Photos attached), they really enjoyed this challenge. They are about to start trialling the product for future taste testing with sixth form students.
