Royal Albert Hall Trip
On Monday 14th November over 90 music students went to London to watch the Music for Youth School’s Prom. This is a national festival that involves over 40,000 students across the United Kingdom. For the last 5 years, students from Boston have been selected to perform at this prestigious venue and for the last 3 years, students from Haven High Academy have performed there.
This year Boston Youth Jazz Orchestra were selected to play on the opening night of the proms for the second year running, this time playing the finale alongside a massed ensemble made up of an orchestra and a choir. This was a fantastic opportunity for our students to go and show their support for fellow students and also to experience a wide range of music in one of the most famous venues in the world.
