South Lincolnshire Superzone U16 Girls’ Football Tournament

On Thursday 24th September, our Year 9, 10 and 11 girls took part in the South Lincolnshire Superzone U16 Girls’ Football Tournament at Cowley Academy.

The girls showed fantastic resilience, determination and team spirit throughout the competition, facing some strong opposition from Spalding Academy, Bourne Grammar School and Cowley Academy.

After some competitive matches, the team finished a very respectable 5th place – a fantastic achievement against some high-level opposition!

It was also a great opportunity for our Year 9 students to gain valuable tournament experience, and they’ll be looking to go even further when they compete in the U14 tournament later in the academic year in March.

A huge well done to all the girls who represented Haven High – you should be incredibly proud of yourselves!
